Hello Band Alumni!
It's time to dust off those instruments and count your lucky stars that we don't have to march, but still get to play at UCM Homecoming on October 21, 2023! The schedule is below. - Meet at the Cheatham-Phillips House (on Holden Street, behind Audrey J. Walton Stadium) at 8:00am. We will have coffee and donuts as we prepare for the parade.
- At 8:45am, we will begin playing as the parade lineup and step-off takes place. We'll play between bands throughout the parade.
- Lunch will be on your own.
- At 1:00pm, we'll join the other bands at the Amphitheater, just south of the Cheatham-Phillips House, and follow them into the stadium.
- We'll find our seats (next to the band section) to watch the pregame show and settle in for the game. Those who would like to play the fight song in the stands with the Marching Mules are encouraged to do so! If you'd like to play stands tunes as well, please email Dr. Seapy (seapy@ucmo.edu) to coordinate sheet music.
- We will join the band at halftime on the field to perform the fight song, and perhaps the alma mater as well.
- After halftime the Seipps have again invited us to their home for Susan's famous chili. For directions, contact Neal Seipp: nseipp@gmail.com.
