NextDoor Tutoring LLC is an award-winning local tutoring company owned and operated by Nicole Spence, a local Special Education teacher.

Nicole will personally match your child with the right tutor based on their academic needs, learning style, availability, and preferred tutoring format. Nicole is also a Resource Special Education Teacher for Manatee County Schools and will respond to your request within 24–48 hours.

We are based in Sarasota, Florida, and proudly serve students throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. We also work with students nationwide through online tutoring.

Please note that some in-person library locations may currently have a waitlist. The Fruitville Library will be closed until further notice however, we can provide services at alternative locations near the Fruitville Library area.

In-Person Tutoring for Pre-K–12:
Available at select local library locations. Some locations have a waitlist. Some locations have limited open slots. 

Online Tutoring for Kindergarten Through Adult Learners:
Online tutoring is available for a variety of subjects. College-level math, science, reading, and writing are also offered online. Sessions are conducted through Lessonspace, a secure and interactive online tutoring platform.

High School and College-Level Tutoring:
Tutoring is available for math, science, reading, and writing.

Test Preparation Services:
We offer tutoring for EOCs, FAST Assessments, ACT, SAT, Praxis, FTCE, GED, GRE, and more.

Payment Information

We accept Zelle payments at: nextdoortutoring22@gmail.com. Payments are due immediately after each session. Late payments may incur a $5.00 fee. Please include your student’s name and session date in the memo. We do not accept cash.
