Fosters will be provided food, medication (including preventatives), and a crate. We ask fosters to send us pictures as often as possible and keep us up to date on any changes which helps us get dogs adopted as quickly as possible. *
Dogs sometimes need time to settle into a new home environment. This can take anywhere from a couple hours to a couple weeks to feel comfortable in your home. Some dogs may cause damage to a residence. This can happen if they chew on furniture or have potty training accidents. We have excellent ideas to help you work on issues some dogs have so that they can thrive in your home and then in their new home, just ask us. *
Misplaced Mutts is not responsible for any damages sustained by the foster dog. We ask foster homes to monitor the dog and keep crated when not home. We ask that you contact Misplaced Mutts with any concerns so they can be addressed as early as possible. *
Once approved to be a foster we will send you a foster agreement, which you will need to fill out and return to us as soon as possible. *
