School of Sustainability Global Education Scholarship

The scholarship supports participation in School of Sustainability (SOS) Summer Study Abroad programs or SOS Global Intensive Experience (GIE) courses. Funding must be used for an in-person experience (funding cannot be used for virtual/online experiences).

Award Amount: $500 GIE programs 
                             $1000 Summer Study Abroad programs 

Deadline: March 1, 2025 by 11:59pm AZ time. 

September 25, 2025 by 11:59pm AZ time (Deadline for Costa Rica program only)

Eligibility Criteria:                                                                                                       
ASU student enrolled in and accepted to a School of Sustainability study abroad program

*Awards are non-transferable. You cannot apply for the scholarship for a specific course, be awarded and then decide to use it for a different SOS study abroad program.

GPA: 2.5 or higher

Academic level: Undergraduate (sophomore-senior) or Graduate student.
Priority consideration will be given to those who apply early. 

*Students may only be awarded this scholarship for 1 SOS eligible program per academic year.
