What You Can Expect:

***$500 Cash Prize for 1st Place Chili****

FREE BEER and CHILI. You and (1) lucky sous chef will live like kings.

EXPOSURE. We’ll display your company’s name at the event (if you have an organization that you’ll be representing)

ENDLESS GRATITUDE for all who participate.

What We Ask of You:

COOK FOR THE MASSES:
We ask that you prepare enough chili to satisfy a mass of roughly 150-175 people sampling your goods, a sample being roughly 3+ oz./person. Think at least one standard 20 qt pot. Good chili goes fast and if you want to compete, you’ve got to make your chili last.

LOCKED AND LOADED:
We ask that your chili be fully prepared and cooked before arriving at 1PM; Bring your own heating implement (i.e. crockpots, burners) or request one and we’ll provide it.

GREATNESS:
What constitutes a chili is fairly personal - The Mad Ones do not make rules about what ingredients are required. We do ask that your entry be delicious and could not be mistaken for anything but chili.
