Register for 'Everyday Stories Lab 2025: The Migration Edition'
As our cities grapple with many complex and interlinked issues, it is increasingly evident that engaged citizens with diverse skills and experiences must be a part of the quest for solutions.

At Oorvani Foundation, we believe that citizens are key to transforming our cities, and enable individuals and communities to navigate the journey from awareness to action.

Our knowledge platform Citizen Matters brings together professional journalists and active citizens to create and publish a rich body of reports, case studies and knowledge resources that collectively foster sustainable, equitable and liveable cities.

Why Citizen Journalism:
Citizen Journalists bring the unique local knowledge and insights of local residents and neighbourhoods. By sharing their first hand observations, experiences, analysis and suggestions, citizen contributors not only amplify community voices but also develop their identity as civic problem-solvers and leaders. Through the process of storytelling, citizen contributors deepen their own understanding of the space.
