Eid Al-Fitr RSVP Form
Ramadan, the 9th month of the Islamic calendar, is the month Muslims perform an obligatory fast. The 10th month is "Shawwal." The first day of Shawwal is "Eid-al-Fitr," signifying the end of the obligatory fast. Muslims around the world will celebrate with prayer, a sermon, and plenty of festive activities, such as, you guessed it, eating. Because the Islamic calendar is lunar, Eid-al-Fitr will be on Friday, April 21, or Saturday, April 22.
The Fish Interfaith Center, under the supervision of the Director of Muslim Life, Shaykh Jibreel Speight, invites you to a community post-Eid-al-Fitr dinner on Monday, April 24, at 7 PM, sharing space and enjoying the accomplishments our Chapman Muslim community members achieved during Ramadan.
Please note we will do our best to honor your dietary restrictions
