Holiday Wishes for Incarcerated Women and Men
**PLEASE NOTE**: The information collected below is just for Alumni Relations' records and will NOT be shared in the card. Only your first name will be included.
Thank you for your interest in writing a holiday message to women and men incarcerated in a New York correctional facility! The holidays can be a particularly difficult time of year for both incarcerated women and men who are separated from family and loved ones in an isolating environment. Your message will spread much needed cheer and let the women and men at at various facilities know that they are not forgotten this holiday season. Taconic, Sing Sing, Rikers and QueensBorough are four of the six facilities in the New York City area served by the Prison Education Program which brings Columbia University courses to incarcerated students.
SAMPLE HOLIDAY WISHES:
Wishing you strength and light this holiday season!
You are not forgotten this holiday season. Keep your head held high and know that others are thinking of you and wishing you well!
