Objectives:

• discuss the theories and knowledge on user education programs in libraries;
• review the librarians’ teaching skills and competencies;
• emphasize the necessity of a carefully-designed user education program;
• discuss the materials and tools that can be used to enhance the delivery of user education programs;
• provide strategies and techniques to create an effective and engaging learning atmosphere; and,
• provide hands-on workshop on the creation of user education programs to reinforce the knowledge, materials and strategies discussed.



Fees:

P4,500.00 per participant inclusive of registration fee, accommodation for 3 days and 2 nights, meals, snacks, kits and certificate of attendance/participation.
