Check three things that would make it easier for you to park in Jersey City.
Street cleaning should be cut back to twice a week at most.
You can resolve clearly improper parking tickets directly with the Parking Authority instead of having to go to Court.
No ticketing during major religious holidays.
Weekend and evening hours for parking authority and municipal court.
You should not be ticketed in a neighborhood experiencing disruptions such as major construction and maintenance.
You should be compensated by the City if you were ticketed in the past 3-5 years for parking in a spot that wasn’t clearly marked until 2019.
