Edible Blood Clots: Students will make fake blood clots to mimic what naturally happens in our blood vessels. They will learn about the different blood components and why clot forming and dissolving are important in the human body.
Crime Scene Mystery: Students will determine the suspect in a crime scene by using blood typing. They will also learn about antibodies and the human immune system.
Patient Zero - The Spread of Disease: Students will model a spread of infection and learn how viruses are transmitted. They will also talk about vaccines, immunity and behaviors that reduce the risk of infection.
