School attendance is very important.  Although students who have excused absences are allowed to make up work, they miss the class discussions and teacher explanations.  Parkway Middle School understands that situations exist which dictate that vacations are taken during the school year.  The principal will review requests for vacations to determine whether a vacation request will be approved.  The student’s academic performance, previous attendance, and reason for the request will be taken into consideration when reviewing the request.  Please complete this form to be submitted it to the middle school office at least one‐week prior to the date you are requesting and you will receive an email once reviewed.
