1. Read the Marriage Mentors Job Description below.  If you meet the qualifications as listed and are in agreement with the expectations of this ministry, please complete this application form for our review. All applications are kept strictly confidential.

2. Complete the PREPARE/ENRICH Marriage Assessment. Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted about how to complete the online ENRICH marriage assessment that every mentor couple at Grace Community Church is required to take.  The cost is $35 per couple and we will cover this cost for you as part of our investment into your marriage relationship and mentoring ministry.

3. Review the ENRICH Marriage Assessment with ministry leader.  The assessment report will be reviewed only by our Marriage Mentor Pastor who will then meet with you to go over your report that provides a snapshot of your marital strengths and growth areas.  The report will be used to help assess your readiness to become marriage mentors and will introduce you to how PREPARE/ENRICH is used in our marriage mentoring ministry.

4. Attend Marriage Mentor Training.  This is where you will learn how to use the Prepare/Enrich Facilitator’s Report and other mentor materials as you work with couples.  We will also introduce you to how the Marriage Mentoring operates and support our mentors.

5. Make the final decision to participate in the Marriage Mentoring program.  After completing the initial training, you will be asked to prayerfully consider a commitment to this ministry.
