Sessions will be an intense workout starting with a 1 mile run each morning followed by various non-racket exercises and drills to build coordination, balance, agility, stamina and strength. The second hour will jump right into hitting balls (basket feeds and/or ball machine feeds). Students should be prepared with everything they might use in a match including water, towel, drinks, ice, change of clothes, extra racket, etc.
Rainouts - any days of rainouts, first will attempt to workout later than morning. If rain causes a cancellation, Fridays will be makeup day. No session July 29 due to freshman orientation, so August 2 is the makeup day for that session.
ABOUT HANNAH RIDDICK. Hannah is a upcoming Junior in her third year as a Hahnville High Tennis Team member. She has been playing tennis for 8 years. She has three years of experience an assistant to John Hebert at Grand Ridge Country Club and as an student instructor for two Hahnville tennis team junior camps.
ABOUT JOHN HEBERT. John is a USPTA certified professional tennis instructor and has been a tennis player for over 35 years. He has coached, provided lessons and clinics to hundreds of children ages 3 thru 18. John's students have gone on to play junior tournament tennis, high school tennis and college tennis.
