"Kensal Tri 2023' - fitness fun & fundraise
Get fitter, meet the neighbours & maybe also raise £££s for great local causes?

'Kensal Tri' is by our community for our community - with teams this year from Kensal Rise, Queens Park, Harlesden, Kilburn, Willesden, Cricklewood - and further afield from Brent.

It's an excuse to help more of us get active and bring us together 'for the good of the hood'!

We offer free and discounted local run, swim, cycling and general cardio (or Triathlon training!) for ALL kinds of ages and abilities, shapes and sizes. You don't pay to join a club - you can just grab your trainers and come out with us!

We also help anyone who would like to do 'good in the hood' by fundraising (any amount!) at events like Blenheim Palace Triathlon. Team members have raised over £215,000 for 30 local charities so far!

This form is to register interest in swimming, cycling or running (or all three!) at Blenheim Palace on Sat 3rd June - but you can also use it to register interest in just exercising and/or joining us at other sporty events.

Beautiful Blenheim Palace Triathlon takes place on Saturday 3rd June. It's a national event which Kensal Rise provides the biggest team at! We took over 350 places at the last two events.

We even have our own 'Kensal Tri' team tent near the Palace and enjoy a lunchtime start!

It's one of the country's most accessible events. We can take as many people as we like, it can be a family picnic day out at the UNESCO Palace and you can take part by just running or walking the Relay!

You can do a half or quarter length Triathlon or pick one of the Relay legs - a 750m swim or 21km cycle or 5km run - and do it at ANY pace.

Here is how the Kilburn Times described our Blenheim teams in 2021:

The local training opportunities include Willesden Sports Centre track with Jamie Baird PT, Richmond Park & Hampstead cycles, social runs with the Queens Park Harriers, a 7 day Moberly or Willesden Sports Centre pass, group PT in Tiverton with Lizzie Barker or Mariangela, HIT with Storm LDN, weekly open-water trips (Hampstead Ponds, Denham, Merchant Taylor, Lido) or pool (Maqam, Moberly) swim lessons, buddy runs, BRICK training with Hampstead Tri, free strength, mobility and coaching advice with Maciej at Gym Locomotive as well as other local benefits.

We want to widen participation as much as possible, especially to those who cannot usually afford to enter the event because of lower income and/or being unwaged. Please click below if you'd be interested in discussing ways we can achieve this.
