Claymakers' mission is to promote the joy of working with clay; sustain a thriving community of artists, students, and teachers; and foster enthusiasm for the ceramic arts through classes, workshops, exhibits, special events, a supply store and access to facilities and materials. Founded in 2000, Claymakers re-organized as a non-profit in 2011 and received 501c3 status in September 2013. Claymakers is a wonderful, fun organization and it is the only ceramics center of its kind in the Triangle.
We are particularly interested in individuals with fundraising, communications, marketing, and human resources experience. Strong ties to the downtown Durham area are also highly desired.
