Topics will be selected based on interest survey results, so please share your feedback with Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho. Current ideas include:
- Importance of Creating a Seizure Action Plan
- Deciding with whom and how to share your diagnosis (including discussion with neighbors, new acquaintances, dating, job interviews, and more...)
- Strategies for arranging accommodations at school, work, or new living arrangements
- Safety at Home, School and Work - sharing of ideas and strategies for living as independently and safely as possible
- Mental Health and other conditions that often accompany epilepsy
- Understanding basic terminology and what it all means

While this group is largely intended for adults over 18, if you or someone you know is a mature teen interested in attending, please be in touch so someone from the Epilepsy Foundation can help determine how we can best serve you or your loved one. ALL are welcome!
This group is attended by individuals with epilepsy, caregivers and family members of those who have epilepsy, and members of the community who would like to learn more about epilepsy and how to help reduce the stigma of living with this condition. Our meetings are open to the public and no reservation is required. We appreciate registration so we can anticipate how many guests to expect on a regular basis and make sure our meeting room is the appropriate size each month, but know the door is always open whether you've signed up or not! We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into this supportive community of people who get it.
