BCMSU McNair Scholars Program Application
Please complete this first part of the application for the Bloomfield College of Montclair State University McNair Scholars Program. 

The additional McNair Application items that would be required are noted below and can be submitted separately:

One-Page Essay

Please type a one-page, double-spaced essay that discusses your future academic and career goals related to achieving a doctorate and being a faculty member within a college or university setting. The One-Page Essay can be sent to the McNair Program via e-mail at fieldsb@montclair.edu and ukwun@montclair.edu before the McNair Interview. 

Two Names of Faculty Members Regarding Recommendation Forms (Faculty Who Have Taught Courses In Which You Were Enrolled)

Please list the names of two faculty members who agree to provide a recommendation for you via e-mail to fieldsb@montclair.edu and ukwun@montclair.edu and the recommendation forms would be e-mailed to the faculty recommenders directly.

Most Recent Student Aid Report or Most Recent Tax Form

A copy of your most recent Student Aid Report or signed copy of a recent 1040 Tax Form (parent(s) or legal guardian(s) if you are claimed as a dependent) OR  your personal 1040 Tax Form if you file independently should be submitted directly to the McNair Office - Center for Student Success, Room 204. Please do not e-mail the aforementioned documents.
