Commissions! Terms of Service
If you wish to commission me, you will be paying for my art style as shown on my price sheet and social media. I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
Terms of service: 
  • commissioned art is for PERSONAL USE ONLY and cannot be altered or sold in any way
  • payment will be through PayPal, and I will be sending you the invoice through email.
  • every commissioned work still belongs to me, BastardBeau, and I have the rights to post these works on social media, sell them as prints, etc. 
  • If I feel I am being treated with hate or aggression, I have the right to cancel a commission at any point in the process. (See cancellation section below)

Rules:

Process:
After submitting the commission application, please allow for 2-3 business days for me to get back to you via email about the status of your commission. 

This email will contain my estimated timeline for your piece, if you are on the waitlist, the exact price of your commissioned piece, and any questions I might have about the piece. If you need your art sooner than the estimate, please ask about rush fees. 

During the process, I will keep you updated about the progress of your piece with included images while it is a work in progress.

Sketch and thumbnailing phases will be sent to commissioners for approval before moving forward with the piece. Thumbnails include loose sketches, value thumbnails, and color thumbnails. Value and Color thumbnails will only be sent for artworks that they apply to. 

Once I approve your commission request I will send you a PayPal invoice to your email. I will only begin your commission after the full payment/full down payment is received. 
Delivery and Posting:
The commissioner will not receive any physical products. After the commissioner has paid the full invoice, I will send them the finished, high resolution art files as pngs and jpegs via email. 

Every commission work still belongs to me, BastardBeau, and I have the rights to post these works on social media, create educational content with them, sell them as prints, etc.

The commissioner may not resell, altar, or claim credit for the creation of artwork. The commissioner may not mint the art as an NFT or use in any other type of cryptocurrency or marketing. Commissioned art is for personal use only, it cannot be used for commercial purposes (this includes all file formats).

The commissioner can post the artwork on social media for personal use, use it for an icon, profile picture, banner, etc. so long as BastardBeau is properly credited and linked.
Payment and Cancellation: 
Payment will be through Paypal. I will be sending you the invoice through email.
For all commissions under $50 the full amount will be paid upfront. All commissions above $50 will have a 50% deposit fee due before initial consultation, the other 50% due once the final thumbnails are completed. 

 If you have any specific circumstances or would like to add on elements later during the commission process, please email me any questions.

No refunds or cancellations allowed once the commission has been started, so make sure you're 100% sure before commissioning me.
If I am the one cancelling your commission, you will receive a refund depending on how much of the artwork is finished.

If you wish to commission me, you will be paying for my art style as shown on my price sheet and social media. Pricing may vary based on complexity of requests.
Revision:
Any large edits past the sketch and thumbnailing phases will incur an additional charge of 50% of the original price.

Large edits include: changing the character or subject of the artwork, changing the overall composition, changing the setting of the detailed background, changing the character's clothes or hairstyle, etc.

Small edits include: changing the color of a small accessory/prop, changing the color of the background, changing the color of the eyes, changing the shape of the eyebrows, etc.
