Survey of Teachers of ESS, Astronomy, and Earth Science

Do you have 15 minutes to help? Are you now or have you recently taught or served in a coordinating or administrative position for Earth and Space Science, Astronomy, Earth Science, Space Science, or related areas?

Currently there is limited research on the composition of space sciences curriculum. This research study is examining Texas teachers who have taught in these subject areas and who can assist us in understanding the status of the associated curriculum for the courses. It is your opportunity to provide insight and recommendations. You can help fill in the knowledge gap.

The information will go back to state educational institutions and to NASA and may be used to enhance offerings for instructors in these subject areas.

Several additional questions pertain to your background. You may wish to remain anonymous for this survey so do not have to provide identification information.

This project has been reviewed by the University of Houston Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (713)743-9204.
