Appointment of Proxy form | Merri-bek Toy Library AGM 2025
Merri-bek Toy Library is governed according to the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 and in accordance with the Model Rules for an Incorporated Association. The model rules require us to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) within 5 months of the end of the financial year and no business can be conducted at the AGM unless a quorum of 10% of all members are present either in person, online or by appointing a proxy. A proxy is a member of the Merri-bek Toy Library who you nominate to vote on your behalf at the AGM.

We strongly encourage members who can't attend in person or online to appoint a proxy using the form below so that we can reach a quorum for the AGM. 

If you're unsure who to appoint, you can nominate either:
  • Anna Figueiredo, President
  • Sytske Hillenius, Vice President
  • Amy Brown, Secretary 
  • Laura Green, Treasurer
Note that proxies must be received by Merri-bek Toy Library at least 24 hours before the time for holding the meeting.

  • Determination of the number of committee members
  • Confirmation of membership fees
  • Special Resolution - Proposal to update MTL Model Rules to support Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
