Economics Course 2018 Application
Students who undertake this course will come away with a familiarity with various forms of engagement, with the geopolitics of the Korean peninsula, and with legal and economic sources of information that provide a basis for formulating sophisticated ethical and economic judgements regarding existing or prospective economic engagement projects. The course seeks to establish a community of individuals who can connect with each other around their mutual interest in this region.

Student Expectations:
The course runs for 8 weeks from July 16, 2018. This is the second iteration of the same course last year that received strong positive feedback from participants. This year will feature additional presentations and broader assignment options. There will be live on-line Q&A sessions with selected lecturers during the course.
Students will watch pre-recorded lectures in advance and be expected to participate in discussions afterwards. Students will be expected to turn in weekly assignments in a timely manner. Each module is expected to take 3-4 hours to complete. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who complete the course. There is a course fee of $5, which will go towards covering online programming and administrative costs. Money leftover will be used to further Engage Korea's educational efforts.
