-Annual Registration Fee is required for all students enrolled in our program for one or more months.
-Apron with the logo of the studio is required for our School Year Program, we discourage the use of outside aprons within the studio. Students should always wear comfortable clothing to work in, especially when painting with acrylics and oils.
-Late Fee
Payments are due to the 1st of each month any payment after the 10th is subject to a late fee of $10. Ask for auto-enrollment options to avoid any late fees.
- Due to the nature of our art program, some of the projects can take 2 to 4 weeks to finish. In the event that your student missed a class, please reach out inmidiatly for possible make-up class. Please keep in mind missing classes don't carry on as credit to future months.
- Holidays and other School District scheduled breaks:
We follow the Davis School Traditional Calendar for our School year art program with a few exceptions. Accordingly, if there is no school, there will be no art classes. Important! Tuition will continue at a flat rate. Therefore, you will not be charged extra for months that have 5 weeks and you will not be charged less for months that hold holidays and scheduled breaks.
We will also close in severe weather conditions. Available make-up class day will be described below.
HOLIDAYS OBSERVED - No classes on the days below (Make-up classes available when noted).
- Monday, September 1st Labor Day, (5 weeks month).
-Thursday, November 21st. (October is a 5 weeks month).
-Winter Break starts on Dec, 20th - January 6th. Make up class for christmas will be offer as a Christmas Paluzza, make and take gift workshop open house on Monday, Decembe 23rd.
-Martin Luther King, no classes. Make up class on February, 20th. The Ceramic studio will be open for your whole family to enjoy it.
-Spring Break, Fun Art 6-9, Join our Spring break Camp, all classes start at 1pm. (May is a 5 weeks month for classes on Wed, and Thur).
DROPPING OUT CLASSES
Early dropout or termination of payment will only terminate any future payment, no refunds will be made for pre-paid tuition. Auto paid tuition early termination, will be subject to a $10 close up fee.
MISSING CLASSES
I understand there will be no refund or "credits" for missed classes by participants.
PHOTO RELEASE: Participants involved in the Hands on Art for Children program may be photographed or video recorded and said material may be used to publicize Hands on Art for Children programs/activities. P
LIABILITY
I hereby certify that the minor listed above is in my legal custody and has my permission to participate in the courses conducted by Hands on Art for Children.
I further certify that the participant is in good health and has no physical or other impairment which would endanger the participant when engaging in our Hands on Art for Children program.
Student’s parents or legal guardian understands and agrees that in participation in art classes, students will be exposed to new material that might cause allergic and any other type of reactions or injuries. I absolve and hold harmless the Hands on Art for children and its employees from any liability which may result from participation in courses conducted by the Hands on Art for Children, or any accident that may take place in Hands on Art facility.
I grant permission for the staff at Hands on Art for Children to take any and all necessary steps to obtain emergency medical care for my children), if warranted in their sole discretion, and agree that any expenses associated with any medical care will be my responsibility. In all cases of emergency, the child's welfare will be the primary focus; however, every reasonable attempt will be made to immediately reach the Parent/Guardian or designated caregiver. These steps may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Administering first aid/CPR
• Calling an ambulance or paramedics
• Taking the child to the nearest hospital emergency room in the company of a staff member, in a staff member’s vehicle.
• Administration of reasonable medical care as determined by medical personnel in their professional judgment.
I understand that Hands on Art for Children has no obligation to supervise my child at the close of the above activity, and I release the Hands on Art for Children and its employees from any liability resulting from any lack of supervision of my child at the close of the activity.
