2025-2026 Seal of Biliteracy: School or District Intent to Participate
If your district plans to submit student applicants for the South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy for the academic year, please select a designated district contact person for the SofBL to complete the form below. During the academic year, the Education Associate for World Languages will send all notifications and updates ONLY to the designated contacts.

Shortly after your intent to participate has been submitted, a template student application form will be sent to all contacts listed on this form. Each district or school can adapt the application or create its own.

Please remember that both the qualification for a language other than English (Qualification 1) and the English qualification (Qualification 2) are required for all student applicants, regardless of first/heritage language.
