Special Events - helping to plan, coordinate, and set up events hosted by Hand in Hand, such as Water Safety Day, an annual fundraising gala, etc.
Education - coordinating educational presentations for local schools and businesses, distributing educational materials to community organizations and physicians, working Hand in Hand booth at community events
Marketing & PR - maintaining social media and website content, writing press releases, promoting Hand in Hand programs and events
Outreach - promoting outreach programs to potential participants, distributing outreach materials to schools and doctors offices
Scholarships - reviewing scholarship applications, meeting with applicants to discuss scholarship requirements, scheduling lesson observation
Resource Development (Sponsorships/Fundraising) - coordinating and promoting fundraising opportunities, approaching local and national businesses for monetary and in-kind sponsorships/donations, grant writing
Volunteer Management - maintaining a running list of volunteers, scheduling volunteers for events and other needs, recruiting volunteers via various outlets
