Welcome to your Mandela County Police Department Anti- Alternate training. We are under intense threat by an alien species known as alternates. Alternates attempt to take on the form of human beings, with some looking identical to a human. Most of the time, alternates possess visible biological impossibilities, hindered or distorted speech, among other unnatural traits. Throughout this survey, you will be shown images of either normal humans or alternates, and you will not be told which is which. For the purposes of our research, you will be asked to rank how unsettling the images are on a scale of 1 to 5. You will then determine which of the options are alternates and which are not.
