Twitter @ Stanford Storm Talk & Hands-on Workshop RSVP

Interested in analyzing data in realtime and harnessing the power of Storm?

Feb. 22nd
Twitter will be on campus Saturday, February 22nd to host 4-hour graduate level workshop on real time analytics. If you're interested in working with large data sets, then bring your idea, learn Storm, code your idea, and execute it with help from Twitter Storm Experts.

Twitter's Real Time Analytics team will be hosting a graduate level hands-on workshop focused on real time data analytics. During this session, we will be providing you with access to Storm and you can use it to analyze data sets (e.g. a sentiment of your sports team, social recommendation of retail products, computing trending topics in Twitter stream, etc.).

If any of the below fits your description, then this program is for you:
- Are you curious about how Twitter processes real time data?
- Have you taken an upper level undergraduate and/or grad level course in databases?
- Do you have an understanding of data parallelism or parallel data bases?
- Do you have an understanding of machine learning or stats?

If any of the above resonates with you, I would strongly encourage you to attend. Want to meet engineers from the Real Time Analytics team? They will be around to answer questions.

Bring your idea, learn Storm, code your idea, and execute it with help from Twitter Storm Experts.
