Thank you for showing interest in The Farmers Market of Carbondale (FMC). All items sold at the market are to be grown/produced by the vendor and in accordance with Jackson County Health Department. Vendors wishing to sell at the FMC must first apply to be considered to participate as a daily vendor. Filling out and submitting this form does not guarantee you a daily spot at the market. The Daily Vendor Application is to act as a questionnaire for the FMC market manager to aid in determining if vendors would be a good addition to the market. The FMC is especially interested in vendors who will bring unique items that do not compete with our current seasonal vendor offerings. All applications are reviewed and carefully considered before being notified if they have been approved or denied for a specific date.
If a vendor is approved, The Farmers Market of Carbondale requires liability insurance in the amount of 300,000 or greater. Each Saturday market a vendor is approved to sell at, there will be a $30 fee for a 10’ space. This fee will be waived if the vendor calls the market manager by Thursday to cancel their space reservation; any delinquent charges must be paid prior to selling. Sales tax on items sold at the market are to be reported and submitted by the vendors and are not a responsibility of the market.
The Farmers Market of Carbondale is held every Saturday rain or shine from 8am till 12pm starting the last Saturday in March and ending on the first Saturday in December. Thank you again for showing interest in our market, our market manager will do her best to respond to your request in a timely manner. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out.
