ASTOR MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA PROGRAM

Mission of the Astor Theatre Program

  • Create a supportive enriching environment, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and personal responsibility.  
  • Provide students with an understanding of basic theater, working to increase their confidence, self-expression skills, and public speaking abilities.
  • Increase community collaboration opportunities between youth, parents, and teachers.

Excited to have your student join this years Astor Drama Program!  

Fall Class Times:
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 3:30 - 5:00 pm
September 24th - December 6th
FINAL PERFORMANCE: Dec. 6th
Astor School: 5601 N. Yale Street
Cost: Sliding Scale $100-$200
Register by September 30th

A note about the fee:  This year, the PTSO is unable to underwrite the drama program and asked that I move to a fee for services model per semester - similar to other after school programs.  If the cost of the program is a barrier to participation, please contact the Astor School front desk and they will direct you to PTSO for tuition support.
