Members of the Street Team can move back to Simmons anytime between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00PM on Friday, August 30 in the Residence Life Office. If you are unable to move-in on that Friday, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can make alternate arrangements
There will be a mandatory meeting to go over street team responsibilities, assignments, and troubleshooting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30th.
Street Team members will work from approximately 7:30AM - 12:30PM. You will be helping New Students and their families move into their rooms. You will be doing tasks such as helping to unload cars, push the large orange carts, and more. If you have any physical limitations that prevent you from pushing carts, lifting items, or anything like that, please include that information in the "anything more we should know?" section below so we can assign you appropriately.
In addition to moving into your residence hall early, you will also be given a Street Team T-shirt, dinner on Friday, and a sticker that says "Ask me about [insert name of student organization or other involvement type]
Students who move-in early but do not complete their street team responsibilities will be charged the early move-in fee of $25 by Residence Life.
