Ada Initiative - Ally Skills Workshop
The Ally Skills Workshop teaches men simple, everyday ways to support women in their workplaces and communities. Participants learn techniques that work at the office, at conferences, and online. The skills taught in this workshop are relevant everywhere, including skills particularly relevant to open technology and culture communities. At the end of the workshop, participants will feel more confident in speaking up to support women, be more aware of the challenges facing women in their workplaces and communities, and have closer relationships with the other participants.

We encourage people of all genders to attend! The workshop works best with at least 20% women. This workshop is made possible by a generous donation of $100,000 by an anonymous Linux kernel developer.

The workshop is best when we have a mix of genders in each discussion group, and this helps us know if we need to do more outreach.
