Consider Your Ways - A visit to the original Franklin Grave Boards near Ottawa
RSVP for a 4 December 2025 afternoon visit to the Aylmer QC Collections Facility for Nunavut, to view the Franklin Expedition wooden grave boards originally located at Beechey Island from 1846-1976. Exact time TBD. Alex C will give a brief intro talk about Beechey Island and the grave markers. The tour is for a maximum of ten (10) guests, based on Government of Nunavut conservation facility policies. The Facility is located north of the intersection of Chemin Pink and Rue de la Conservatoire  @ 1740 Chem. Pink, Gatineau, QC (Natural Heritage Campus, Canadian Museum of Nature). Depending on the timing, we may debrief at the British Hotel/Pub, a beautiful 1834-built tavern nearby. Check back for more info.
