BEF’s dedication to promoting excellence in education for Brewster schools require that teachers are supported in developing and leading innovative education projects. These are projects that cannot be funded through regular school budgeting, so BEF’s grant program funds this work. The grants program is open to any teacher or administrator in the Brewster Central School District. While there is a not a specific type of project BEF funds, we encourage grant applicants to think broadly and creatively about the projects they are designing in relation to educational impact. Consideration is given to projects utilizing an interdisciplinary approach or a team approach at a grade level, multi-grade level, or department level.
Grants should:
Directly support the educational objectives of the Brewster Central School District and align with BCSD curricular vision and goals.
Have the support of all school personnel involved in implementing the Grant.
Be carefully reviewed and approved by the school’s principal.
