2019 Tumwater Artesian Brewfest Volunteer Registration Form Last Day to Register is August 9
Event Timing: August 17, 2019, from 1:00-8:00pm, volunteer shifts start at 11:30 a.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. Shifts 1 and 2 are 3.5 hours in duration and the 3rd shift is for 3 hours.
Event Address: Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course Driving Range

Groups are welcome to sign up to volunteer but each person in the group must register for a duty station and time using the online registration portal. Space is limited and we cannot guarantee groups will be able to work together at the same duty station.

Once registration closes on August 9, all City Volunteers will be contacted by email with instructions, parking passes, and general check-in information regarding duties and station assignments approximately the week prior to the event. Please be sure that your email settings allow city emails or you may miss important communications regarding the event.

All City Volunteers receive a free 5.5oz Taster mug, 5 Tastes, Admission and a Volunteer T-Shirt.

Walk-in volunteers are not permitted the day of the event.

You must be at least 21 years of age by the date of the event. All volunteers must present a valid state-issued ID to enter the event gate or you will not be allowed to enter.
All volunteers are expected to arrive before their scheduled shift to allow time to navigate parking and entrance lines in order to be on duty to relieve other shift members, change into your event t-shirt, receive wristbands, and receive instructions and training.

Please plan to allow 15-minutes prior to your shift to get situated (park, navigate lines, check-in, change clothes, etc.). Volunteers are also expected to be courteous, observe safety regulations, and report any unsafe or inappropriate activities at the event to a City Parks Staff, Event Management, or Police Officer on site.

We respectfully ask that you register to volunteer only if you can commit to working the entire shift as we are not able to cover partial shifts during the event. Volunteers who arrive late or leave early are not eligible for tasting mugs or tokens.

All volunteers will receive training information about requirements of participation prior to assuming duties. Volunteers must be physically and mentally capable of performing duties with good judgment and provide quality customer service with limited supervision at the work station.

Groups may register to volunteer but each person in the group must complete a registration form.

NOTE:
We will begin sending out information regarding assignments, parking passes, and updates after August 9 once registration closes for this year's event. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your registration and assigned you to a duty station and shift. If you have questions or need to cancel your registration, please contact volunteer@ci.tumwater.wa.us as soon as possible so we can have an accurate accounting of volunteers prior to the event.
