The GHEA21 Action Lab is a three-month student-led initiative designed to help university students turn an issue they care about into a small, practical civic or community project.
Participants will work in small teams, supported by GHEA21 fellows serving as mentors. You do not need previous experience in leadership, volunteering, or project management, and you do not need to have a fully developed project idea.
Through the Action Lab, you will have the opportunity to explore an issue, develop an idea, work with others, implement a small-scale initiative, and reflect on what you learn along the way.
Duration: 3 months
Format: Online
Participants: Approximately 15–20 university students
Team size: 4–5 students
Commitment: 3 main sessions + work with your team between sessions Starting Date: 3 November, 2026
