Job Title: Retail Sales Associate / Stylist

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and attentive Retail Sales Associates to join our South Town team. If you love fashion, connecting with people, and making customers feel great about themselves, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Enthusiastically greet and approach every customer who enters the store. Provide personalized styling advice, help clients discover flattering combinations, and guide them toward the perfect swimwear options for their body type.

  • Fitting Room Styling: Create a seamless and welcoming fitting room experience. Help customers start their rooms, provide proactive follow-ups on sizing and alternative styles, and pull coordinating pieces to enhance their shopping experience.

  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Janela Bay's swimwear cuts, fits, and features to act as an expert guide for customers.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Efficiently process transactions, credit card payments, and handle customer returns or exchanges according to store policy. Accurately count and document cash tills at opening and closing.

  • Merchandising & Inventory Control: Ensure the sales floor stays fully stocked as items sell. Prepare new arrivals by barcoding, steaming, and displaying merchandise according to visual standards. Assist with routine inventory counts.

  • Store Upkeep: Maintain a beautiful, clean, and organized environment on the sales floor, fitting rooms, and storage areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You must be naturally comfortable initiating conversations, building rapport, and actively approaching customers to offer assistance.

  • Strong team player with a positive, high-energy attitude.

  • Attention to detail and basic math skills for cash handling.

  • Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and able to stand for shift durations.
