This survey is to help the Fairwood Community Association assess the level of interest in the community for creating a Special Community Benefit District (SCBD).
A SCBD would allow Fairwood to secure a county backed loan to carry out necessary improvements to renovate our aging pool and pool house, replace all playground equipment and improve the surrounding grounds, as well as provide a paved and striped parking lot and adequate lighting. These capital improvements are proven to increase property values and draw buyers to our wonderful neighborhood.
Fairwood is not a Home Owner's Association (HOA) and has no desire to become one!
We currently rely on voluntary dues to pay for all community expenses such as property tax, insurance, and basic maintenance of our community property. With that being said, we only have a fraction of the households currently paying dues to support the community.

The following survey is only intended to help us streamline the process of acquiring the needed 2/3 community signatures so we can be sure to focus our efforts and resources accordingly.
