FLL Team Interest Form
FIRST Lego League (FLL) is an international robotics competition organized by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Every year, FLL releases a Challenge, which is based on a real-world scientific topic. Each Challenge has three parts: the Robot Game, the Project, and Core Values.

Teams of up to ten students, with at least two adult coaches, participate in the Challenge by programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field (Robot Game) and developing a solution to a problem they have identified (Project), all guided by the FIRST Core Values. Teams may then attend an official tournament and compete with others from around the world.

The average time commitment required for being on the FLL team is about 4 hours per week in October – December, depending on whether or not the team qualifies for Championships. Most costs and fees, such as for the FLL kit and competition registration, will be covered by Paly Robotics.

Paly Robotics, Palo Alto High School's robotics team, is currently helping students in middle school form FLL teams. Please fill out this form if you are interested in starting and being part of a team.
