Student Involvement: SNEB Conference 2018 Minneapolis, MN
Hi guys! I'm trying to gauge interest in helping out with the student committee and planning for student events at this year's conference. If you have a few minutes, please answer the following questions. If you have any questions of your own, feel free to email me at students@sneb.org or mackenzie.ferrante@colostate.edu. Looking forward to seeing you all at the conference this year!
This year, the student committee is co-sponsoring a post-conference talk, "Hacking the Academic Job Market" by Karen Kelsky of theprofessorisin.com, with the Higher Education Division.
This session would be geared towards career development and would cover many topics including negotiating salary, strategies for interviewing, how to build a successful academic resume, etc. It would take place Wednesday, July 25th.
