Seeking translators and copy editors for a number of Asian languages and Spanish. Translators must write fluently, have an excellent understanding of the LGBTQ community and the ever changing vocabulary of our self-definitions. You will be translating oral stories that have already been transcribed from video. You'll be emailed a word document and have approximately two weeks to turnaround the translation in written form.

LANGUAGE BARRIERS + GLOSSARY DEVELOPMENT: We know some languages only have derogatory words for Lesbian or Gay. And some may not have any words for Trans, Queer, or Gender non-conforming. As the first phase of this translation process begins, a glossary is also being developed. As people read the translated interviews, definitions can be put in at the top of the document, or people can click on words which will direct them to long written out definitions. This way we can make our own glossary!

We will follow-up with selected candidates within 2-weeks of application receipt. Probably sooner.
