Leander ISD PTA Rally Day Interest Form
Rally Day is a popular advocacy event attended by thousands of PTA members from across the state of Texas.

There will be a student and adult caucus and a parade walk to the Capitol steps for a rally.  There will be a delivered meal (we are still working on the details) or you may bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the lawn. There will be an instructional email about the meals. Students may be able to briefly meet with legislators and participate in literature "drops."  Due to our large numbers, we may rotate groups in and out of legislative meetings and take some on Capitol tours and write letters to their legislators.  Younger students can also participate in a Capitol scavenger hunt

This event is geared toward adults and older students, but all ages are welcome!

Please let the LISD Council of PTAs know if you are interested in attending Rally Day by completing the information below. Legislator Meetings may be limited by space*

This event will be considered an excused absence for LISD students. 

Please notify your Principal and school Attendance Clerk about your child's absence for Rally Day by Wednesday, February 19th and by filling out the following form. You can print and turn it in to the office or email them.
