Portage Central is coming off its first loss of the season, but the Mustangs are still at home for the first round. Byron Center has two losses, but both came against quality opponents in Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern and Zeeland West. Portage Central wins, 28-27.

Vicksburg posted another 7-2 regular season, but the Bulldogs face a tough test in the first round. The Redhawks sit at 7-2 with losses against Coldwater and Portland, two undefeated teams. Marshall wins, 35-31.

Already went down this road and it didn't end well for me. Schoolcraft wins, 42-35.

Gobles entered last year's playoff matchup against Bridgman as the favorite, only to loss handily. This year, it's the opposite, but the Bees are even better in 2015. Bridgman wins, 35-31.

Mendon lost in Week 9, but the Hornets snuck into the playoffs. Climax-Scotts has dominated this season and the Panthers are legit on both sides of the ball. Is this the year they finally beat Mendon? I think so. Climax-Scotts wins, 35-14.

Lawrence may have lost to Battle Creek St. Phillip in the regular season finale, but the Tigers are still one of the best teams in 8-man football. Lawrence moves on, 49-30.

Lawton destroyed rival Decatur in Week 9, but Watervliet is on a different level than the Raiders. The Panthers are solid on both sides of the ball and playing at home will be a nice boost. Watervliet wins, 28-21.

Plainwell snuck into the playoffs. Zeeland West has crushed everyone in its path this season, regardless of division. Zeeland West wins, 42-14.

Sturgis is coming off a blowout loss to Edwardsburg. St. Joseph is riding high after knocking off Portage Central in Week 9. St. Joseph wins, 35-27.

Delton Kellogg has lost three straight to teams who finished 8-1 or better. Montague is undefeated and that won't change. Montague wins, 35-14.
