Denver Food Rescue Operations Coordinator Application
The Operations Coordinator (OC) manages DFR’s volunteer food rescue program in partnership with the part-time Volunteer Coordinator and reports the the Operations Director.

Volunteers are essential to both Denver Food Rescue’s mission and the surrounding community. To put it simply, we could not accomplish our goals without our volunteers. Our volunteers believe that Denver can and should be a more equitable place for all individuals. At your core you should believe this too. Beyond keeping up the morale of our volunteers, ensuring that they enjoy their volunteer experience with DFR and that they feel like a part of our community it is the Operation Coordinator’s responsibility to manage the logistical aspects of DFR’s volunteer program. The ideal candidate will either live in or have intimate knowledge of the Denver communities in which they will be working. Although it is not required it is highly preferred that a personal vehicle can be utilized for uncovered shifts (if they can not be completed by bike).
