Each parent or guardian is granted one vote with a max of two votes per household. Once you have selected those names you are willing to support in each of the following positions please hit submit form. Please feel free to leave any celebrations, ideas, questions, or concerns you may have regarding the PTO in the "Comments" section. These ballots are 100% anonymous. President

Cari Spoonemore- My husband Steven and I have 4 wonderful children Rebecca-7, Sarah-5, Jacob-3, and Joseph 10 months. I have been the PTO President for 2 years. I enjoy helping the PTO grow and supporting the parents, staff, and students of Children's House and the Elementary Middle School through this organization.

Volunteer Director

Stacey Weyand-I have 2 kids in the Kiva, Bridger will be in Kindergarten and Coulter in 1st Grade next year. I served as the 2014-2015 Volunteer Coordinator and Health and Wellness Liaison. When not working with the Kiva, I work in the insurance agency and the hay farm we own. We are extremely thankful our boys are in Kiva and love the staff.

Trena Murphy- Mom to two wonderful boys. Trena has been a helper wherever needed this school year. She was also a driving force in putting together our Teacher Appreciation Week efforts. Trena will be a welcomed help to coordinating our volunteer efforts.

Erin Tanner-I have owned my own business for the past 8 years and now work with my husband at Cortez Vision. We have 3 children: Carter (8), Preston (4) and Wynn (2). I love creating community events and supporting local businesses.

Rebecca Samulski-Becca is Mom to Orin Star who will be in the lower Elementary in 2015-2016 and Isaac who will be starting at Children's House. She and her husband live with the two boys on their fledgling farm between Dolores and Cortez. She has supported PTO fundraising efforts for the last three years and looks forward to helping the PTO raise more money for the school in between being Mom and Montezuma Chapter Coordinator for FireWise of Southwest Colorado.

Angie Seeley- I have twin boys in the Kiva, Benjamin and Isaac. They will be in 2nd grade next year. I served as PTO Treasurer during the 2014 – 2015 school year. I am a stay-at-home Mom, and enjoy helping out at the school when I can.

Holley Christensen- I have 3 boys who are 6, 4, and 1. My 6 year old, Brooks will be in 1st grade next year. I have served as PTO Secretary since the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year and I look forward to being a part of the PTO this coming year!

Health and Wellness Liaison

Kelly Campo Busby - my son is TJ Campo. I am a family medicine physician with an interest in natural remedies, and I research nutrition, especially for children, in my spare time. I have done extra nutrition training over the last few years and love being able to apply real food solutions to many health problems. I would love to contribute my time for this position. Please consider me for your health and wellness liaison.

Heidi Larrick- I am the momma of Morgan (11) and Myles (9)Larrick. Our family has been part of the Kiva Community since 2008. I am a trained/ certified early childhood Montessori educator and taught at the Children's House for several years. My boys have been in the Montessori program since preschool and are now part of Ms. Caitlin's classroom. I am currently the nurse consultant for The Children's House and the Kiva Charter and am also employed as an RN at Southwest Memorial Hospital. I have a true appreciation for Montessori philosophy and a deep respect for children. I am dedicated to health and wellness and to our Kiva community. I look forward to assisting the PTO in the coming school year.

Alex Prime- Mom to twins Ansel and Calli. She has been room coordinator for the 2014-2015 school year and served as PTO volunteer director for the 2013-2014 school year. We are excited to welcome back Alex.

Carly Silva Glazner- Originally from Tucson, AZ, moved to Cortez in 2008. Graduated from the University of Arizona in 2006. I have two beautiful daughters, Mia Kristine, 4, who is currently in preschool and Danielle Caitlin, 2.

Monica Plewe- Monica served as Room Coordinator for Children's House Mountain Classroom for the 2014-2015 school year. She has 5 awesome children (2 in the Kiva Schools) She is excited to work with the Upper Elementary Classroom for the 2015-2016 school year.
