Register your interest for Two5six's Game Academy
The Two5six Festival is a three-day celebration (May 15-17) of a life well-played. It is where games and culture meet. Our festival aims to show what games can teach other industries and what other industries can teach games. As part of the festival, we will select 30 individuals to attend the conference for free and to take part in Two5six's Game Academy, scheduled for Sunday May 17th.
This workshop empowers new creators with the skills needed to speak out using games as a platform. During the session, participants will gain experience with paper prototyping and the Construct 2 game engine. At the end of the day, they will collaborate together in a mini jam. Upon completion, attendees will leave with a list of resources to further pursue these topics on their own.
Advanced programming knowledge is not required for this course nor is design experience. While all are welcome to apply, we will be encouraging individuals from traditionally underrepresented communities in the fields of STEM to join us.
Deadline is May 14th.
