Summer Dance Pathways District 18 Registration form for students entering 5th and 6th grade & students entering 7th and 8th grade in the Fall of 2026

I.S. 285, The Meyer Levin School for the Performing Arts, & Cultural Academy for Arts and Sciences High School - 629K P.S.  are pleased to present the 2026 Summer Dance Program with support from the NYCPS Arts Office.

  • Three Week Dance Program on July 6th through July 23rd Monday through Thursday Times - TBD 
  • Students will have the opportunity to receive instruction in foundational dance classes including ballet, modern, jazz & tap. Students will also have the opportunity to choose elective classes such as: Hip Hop & Afrobeat
  • The program may also include additional guest master artists from partnering arts organizations, a school trip, and a culminating student showcase.
  • This program is designed to provide a sequential pathway for elementary and middle school students who are interested in attending dance programs within middle and H.S. programs within their district schools.  The program is designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced dance students.
