Online MEng Survey

Dear Graduates and Engineering Employers,

We hope this message finds you well. As part of our ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of the engineering community, we are conducting a survey to assess the interest and demand for an online, asynchronous*, course-based Master of Engineering (MEng) program specializing in one of the various subdisciplines of Civil Engineering.

We recognize the importance of higher education in advancing careers and staying abreast of industry advancements, and we believe that offering a flexible and accessible online MEng program will provide a valuable opportunity for professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and expertise in areas such as Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.

While we acknowledge that traditional on-campus MEng programs have long been the norm, we are eager to explore the potential of an online, asynchronous format that could bring quality education closer to those who may face geographical or time constraints.

Your participation in this survey will greatly contribute to shaping the future of engineering education, and we greatly appreciate your insights and perspectives.

A course-based MEng degree consists of 8 courses and a capstone project.

*Asynchronous learning allows you to learn on your own schedule, within a certain timeframe.
