To sign up and reserve a spot on the Behind the Wheel waiting list, please complete the entire form. It is important to understand that by completing this form and being placed on the waiting list, DOES NOT guarantee you behind the wheel lessons immediately. You may be scheduled during the school year or in the summer. Scheduling will be done in the order in which students have signed up for the program. The cost for behind the wheel is $420.00 for 6 lessons (1 hour per lesson) and if eligible, it includes the license testing. If additional hours are needed a $73.00 per 60 minute lesson cost will be charged. Finally, if a student fails to show up for a lesson a $57.00 "No show" fee will be applied.
Behind the Wheel fees are subject to change year to year, pending the district's finance committee's findings at their May meeting. New fees may go into effect immediately. When signing up for behind the wheel, you understand that you may be required to pay the higher rate, if a rate increase is approved.
