Welcome to the North Parent Teacher Organization and thank you for your interest!
If you are a parent or teacher at North Elementary in Crystal Lake, you are a member with us!  

The NPTO is a non-profit volunteer organization of parents and educators from North Elementary who want to support staff and students at North and continue to build a wonderful place to learn, grow, have fun, and work!  We do this by volunteering our time inside and outside of the school building, fundraising, appreciating, supporting, and advocating for our students and staff!  

The purpose of the organization is to:

  • To promote the welfare of North Elementary School students in home, school and community
  • To promote effective communication between North Elementary School parents, teachers and administration
  • To enhance the educational facilities and opportunities for the students of North Elementary School
We meet three times a year at the school to discuss ideas, get committee updates and to plan for upcoming events! 

Our meeting dates for this year are:
Thursday, September 17th, 2026 at 6:00 PM
Thursday, January 21st, 2027 at 6:00 PM
Thursday, May 13th, 2027 at 6:00 PM

Si usted es padre o maestro en la escuela primaria North de Crystal Lake ¡usted es miembro de la asociación!

La NPTO es una organización de voluntarios sin fines de lucro formada por padres y educadores de la escuela North que quieren ayudar a la escuela a seguir siendo un lugar maravilloso donde aprender, crecer, divertirse y trabajar. ¡Hacemos esto ofreciendo nuestro tiempo como voluntarios dentro y fuera del edificio escolar, recaudando fondos, apreciando, apoyando y abogando por nuestros estudiantes y personal!

Committee Chair : this role would include managing and coordinating events and people, and communication with the board for a specific committee.
