IANSA OBJECTIVES: IANSA promotes advocacy internationally for an end to the proliferation and misuse of small arms. To achieve that, IANSA supports civil society efforts to secure the strictest possible laws and policies to control the manufacture, transfer, storage and use of small arms, and fact-based advocacy to strengthen the provisions and implementation of the UN Programme of Action on small arms and light weapons and other international instruments such as the Arms Trade Treaty and the UN Firearms Protocol.
